	Seb	Est-ce la première fois que vous venez en Europe? (Is it the fisrt time that you come in Europe ?)

	Octopus	Yes. We are very very happy and pleased that our debut is in a Festival like Crescendo. It is a privilege to us. Oui. Nous sommes vraiment très heureux et contents que nos débuts se fassent dans un festival comme Crescendo. C'est un privilège pour nous.

	Seb	Aviez-vous dejà entendu parler du festival Crescendo ? (Had you already heard about the Crescendo Festival ?)

	Octopus	We knew about the Festival some time ago when Juan (Mylodon Record owner) told us about it and about the bands that played in past editions. After that we logged in the Festival´s web page and only then we realized how cool it is and the beautiful of the city. Nous avons eu connaissance du festival il y a quelques temps quand Juan (propriétaire de Mylodon record ) nous en a parlé, ainsi que des groupes qui y ont joué dans les dernières éditions. C'est ensuite que nous avons visité le site web du festival et seulement alors nous nous sommes rendus compte de la beauté de la ville et à quel point c'est cool.

	Seb	Comment décririez-vous votre musique? (How do you describe your music ?)

	Octopus	Well, as we all studied in a jazz school, our form of work with progressive metal rock, influenced by England´s progressive founders (King Crimson,Yes and Genesis) and Europe´s modern prog-metal bands (Meshuggah and Textures), gave us a particular sound in this side of the world. We think that the best definition is "prog-metal instrumental band with jazz and electronic roots". Eh bien, comme nous avons tous fait nos études dans une école de jazz, notre forme de travail avec le rock métal progressif , influencée par les anglais fondateurs du rock progressif (King Crimson, Yes et Genesis) et les groupes européens modernes de métal-prog (Meshuggah et Textures), nous donne un son particulier de ce coté-ci du monde. Nous pensons que la meilleure définition est "groupe instrumental de métal-prog reposant sur des racines de jazz et d' électronique".

	Seb	Depuis combien de temps jouez-vous ensemble? ( How long have you played together ?)

	Octopus	The band was founded 6 years ago but the current formation is 4 years old. Le groupe a été fondé il y a 6 ans mais la formation actuelle a 4 ans.

	Seb	Qui compose dans le groupe? ( Who composes in the group ?)

	Octopus	We all work in compositions and as we are good in writing music, the creative session is like a rock ensemble. Nous composons tous et comme nous sommes bons dans l'écriture musicale, la session créatrice est comme un ensemble rock.

	Seb	Vous n'avez pas de chanteur, est-ce un choix artistique ? ( You have no singer, is it an artistic choice ?)

	Octopus	From the beggining we started to work only instrumental. After that we actually thinked about a lead singer but we kept working the same old way. Using samplers give us the opportunity of adding texts into our music. Au début nous avons commencé à travailler seulement en instrumental. Ensuite nous avons en fait pensé à un chanteur mais nous avons continué à travailler comme avant. Grâce à l'utilisation d'échantillonneurs, nous avons l'occasion d'ajouter des textes à notre musique.

	Seb	A l'écoute de l'album "Bonsaï", les parties de batterie sont impressionnantes. Lors de vos concerts , cet instrument est-il mis en avant ? ( In the listening of the album "Bonsaï" , the parts of battery are impressive. During the concerts, is this intrument put forward ?)

	Octopus	Actually we think that live shows are our strengh, and we always have time for our own solos while performing. En fait nous pensons que les spectacles live font notre force, et il y a toujours un temps pour nos propres solos quand on joue.

	Seb	Connaissez-vous TRETTIOARIGA KRIGET (Suède) avec qui vous allez vous produire le vendredi 17 août? ( Do you know TRETTIOARIGA KRIGET (Sweden) you're going to perform with on Friday, August 17th ?)

	Octopus	Of course. Once we saw that Morgan Agren (swedish drummer) talked about them in his television show. For us it´s an honor to perform together with a 30 year history band. Very cool ! Naturellement. Une fois nous avons vu Morgan Agren (batteur suédois) parler d'eux dans son émission de télévision. Pour nous c'est un honneur de jouer sur scène avec un groupe qui a 30 ans d'histoire. Très cool !

	Seb	Qu'attendez-vous de votre passage au festival Crescendo ? ( What do you expect from your passage at the Crescendo Festival ?)

	Octopus	We hope that people like our songs and maybe get to be known and let the path for chilean bands to play there too. Of course we would like to make contacts to stay playing in Europe. Nous espérons que les gens aiment nos chansons et peut-être ouvrirons nous le chemin pour que des groupes chiliens jouent là aussi. Naturellement nous voudrions obtenir des contacts pour rester jouer en Europe.

	Seb	Nous réservez-vous quelques surprises sur scène ? ( Do you reserve us some surprises on stage ?)

	Octopus	Sure. We will be promoting "Bonsaï" but of course that we will show our new songs and it will be a unique and special show for that night. We hope you like it ! Thanks for this great opportunity ! Sûrement. Nous privilégierons les morceaux de "Bonsaï" mais naturellement nous interpréterons nos nouvelles chansons et ce sera une nuit unique et spéciale. On espérons que vous aimerez ça ! Merci pour cette grande occasion !
